1)   Widening Horizons

The first Europeans to reach the New World were probably the Vikings of Scandinavia, who founded a colony on Greenland in the late 900's. Leif Ericson, son of Eric the Red, sailed across the Atlantic Ocean from Norway in the year 1000, heading for his home in Greenland. He was blown off course and ended up on the northeast coast of America. He called the place where he landed "Vinland" because of the wild grapes growing there. Ericson was followed a few years later by a trader from Iceland named Thorfinn Karlsevni. Attempting to find Vinland, he landed instead at a place he named "Helluland," meaning "land of flat rocks."

2) Football/Soccer

Football refers to a number of sports that involve, to varying degrees, kicking a ball with the foot to score a goal. Unqualified, the word football is understood to refer to whichever form of football is the most popular in the regional context in which the word appears: association football (also known as soccer) in the vast majority of the world.

Мy favorite sport is football. I like to play football especially in the summer. With the help of Xavi I started watching and enjoying football when I was seven.  I then admired whit his football passes. When I knew he was playing at football club Barcelona, I become fan Barcelona. Seven years passed, but I’m still this club’s fan (culé).

3) School Boys

Jerome was cartoon lovers. He turned off the tv and he had just cartoon ''South Park''.  The cartoon is an amusing series about school kids.

In the first cartoon's а main character was Herman, who wanted to become muscular. He asked his mother to buy a supplement that was advertised on TV. The supplement was actually nothing.

Instead, it made Herman very fat. But a main character Herman refused to believe that he had become fat.

In the second cartoon a main character was a dog that followed Lenny home.
Lenny loved her dog until he found out it was gay. Then he hated the dog, but Big Al took Lenny to the city’s Home for Gay Animals. Lenny decided that it was okay to be gay. When he got home, he hugged his dog and took it for a walk.
